Retreat to one of Arkansas' premiere destination homes designed by famous architect E. Fay Jones. A serene and romantic home, the Shaheen-Goodfellow Cottage, known as Stoneflower is nestled in the gently rolling foothills of the Arkansas Ozarks and surrounded by pristine Greer's Ferry Lake and the beautiful Eden Isle resort.
Strategically designed to make the most of its surroundings, Stoneflower incorporates many characteristic Jones features and was a milestone in the architect's work. This house foreshadowed Jones's design for the building that would bring him international acclaim---Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs. The vertical emphasis of the design, along with dramatic congrast between an airy, wooden upper structure and cave-like stone base, created a house strikingly different in appearance from Jones's previous designs.
